Kate is a physiotherapist who has been dedicated to the practice and study of many movement disciplines throughout her life. She began with gymnastics at primary school, then embraced contemporary dance and yoga for many years. She became involved with pilates over twenty five years ago to help heal a lower back problem. As a physiotherapist, she has found it invaluable as a main treatment modality for people also wishing to improve or prevent musculoskeletal problems.
She has also studied and taught Gyrotonics and Gyrokinesis and currently enjoys participating in Qi Gong classes. Kate will be teaching mat classes at Mullum Fitness throughout July and August while Max is on holiday and will continue teaching the Thursday classes thereafter.
